Main Learning Coach

Ryo

My name is Ryo, your main learning coach and the founder of the global online learning community "The Learning Lodge."

Over the years, I have coached hundreds of students from around the world in their educational journeys.

At 17, the loss of my mother propelled me on a rigorous two-year journey preparing for Japan's medical school entrance exams — a journey that, despite my dedication, met with repeated rejections. In a moment of deep despair, I found a mentor who drastically altered my path. His influence not only reshaped my outlook but guided me to pursue Biomedical Sciences at a top UK university.

This experience cemented my belief in the untapped potential in all of us. Now, I am devoted to helping others transform their lives through dedicated coaching, nurturing the latent possibilities within eager learners ready to forge a new path.

Have you ever thought this way?

Want to try hard but can t Can t keep studying Not sure if studying the right way Can t focus for long periods

It is not your fault. You are not alone.

But why are there people who are struggling with studying even though we can obtain more useful information more easily than before?

That is because what we are obtaining is information, not “wisdom”.

Wisdom >>>> Knowledge >> Information

Information

Raw data and facts about a particular topic.

Sometimes, it might lack context or background.

Knowledge

Organizing and interpreting information gives it context, making it useful and meaningful.

This process involves understanding the information and relating it to your existing knowledge.

Wisdom

This is the highest level, reached through experience. It represents a deep understanding and insight, allowing for good decision-making and problem-solving using the knowledge acquired.

Our MISSION is “To build wisdom together.

Most of what we encounter in school classes, and on platforms like YouTube and Instagram, falls into the categories of "information" and "knowledge".

This amounts to 90% of the content we consume daily. But without transforming it into "wisdom," it just ends up being consumption without substantial gain.

Simply feeling like we've learned something isn't enough; real change requires a deeper level of understanding and continuous execution.

Through our coaching, we aim to develop wisdom hand in hand with you, focusing on achieving tangible results.

We will achieve it through

Goal Setting

Through conversations with a coach, we will clarify the goals we truly want to achieve. We will rewrite our thinking from "Have to" to "Want to".

Instead of spending time to break out of your comfort zone, shift your comfort zone towards the goal by increasing the clarity and excitement of your objectives.

By shifting the direction of your motivation in this way, you will naturally continue taking action and be able to achieve your goals.

Setting Environment

We invite you to our global learning community,

The Learning Lodge.

It is a truly transformative environment where information turns into wisdom.

Implementing Learning Methods

We will teach you the correct study methods based on hormones and neuroscience that control human behavior.

By deeply explaining these methods, you will become confident in taking action.

We will provide examples of

how to use these methods:

  • Active Recall
  • Feynman technique
  • Mind mapping 2.0
  • Blurting methods
  • Small Wins methods

Daily Feedback & Reflection

Write study records and journals daily. Include what you learned, your emotions, and prevalent self-talk. This narrows the awareness gap between coach and student. By constantly considering "what would a coach do," you can make effective decisions and achieve results efficiently.

Through these, the coach will provide you with feedback.

  • Habit and study schedule management
  • Correction of Journal
  • Weekly 30-minute one-on-one meeting
  • Can also ask questions about study methods, etc.
